"Big Foot Blue" crayon made out of PVC piping, with metal re bar for the internal structure

An artist in residency sculpture project with the Center for the Creative Arts, creating giant crayon sculptures out of recycled materials. We collected cylindrical forms, including paint cans, PVC piping and beach pails. After collecting materials, I worked with Teen Interns, arranging, drilling, attaching and painting the crazy crayons. We shaped a total of 12 crayons, both indoors and outdoors on the property, to complete one crazy box of crayons. Take part in recycled art!
